Hi guys, it is quite some time before I made a post, but I am back. Today is something different; I am writing a novel called The Underworld Wars, but before you talk about Egyptian mythology (this is not about Egyptian mythology), this book is Biopunk Sci-Fi Novel.
Why a biopunk, I hear you ask?
Well, the “Underworld” refers to the ocean (and rivers, though that eel (have to get to that later) is especially dominant in the rivers when entering).
Here is the plot. [spoiler alert]
Marty, a 13-year-old social outcast living in a high-tech society entered the ocean depths and extracted the genetic code of several species of fish. He then started creating a hybrid (or in Biotechnology terms, a Chimera, a species made with genes from different animals).
Marty’s hybrid was a very weird hybrid. The hybrid had a barreleye fish head but had the teeth of the frilled shark. The build of the body was similar to that of a moray eel, but as long as a Giant Oarfish. The hybrid also has moray eel genes for surviving on land for a while, archerfish genes for spraying, ability to shoot clouds of ink, change texture and color of skin, dwell at all depths (Epipelagic, Mesopelagic, Bathypelagic, Abyssopelagic, Hadopelagic) with Snailfish genes. The eel is also edited with many bioluminescent genes and electricity genes from Electric Eel organs and Electric Ray organs. Siphonophore toxins were also used. Marty was engineering the fish, when he accidentally released a small yes, the fish is social. The dangers were coming; the eels are now invasive.
Meanwhile, Marty’s cousin, Asher, accidentally released Stem Cells if two GMO hybrids: A GMO Lemon Shark and A GMO Sperm Whale, build to have similar things with the eels, but more enhanced like bioluminescent narwhal spears, bioluminescent sawfish saws, bioluminescent stripes and straps, bioluminescent eyes, and so much more.
Three species, competing for survival, which will win?
